Chemical analyses of bone tissue of red deer from two hunting grounds situated in the Krušnć hory (Ore Mountains) have revealed different trajectories of fluorine loads to these forested areas since sixties. Concentrations of fluorine in the site father (a 40 km) from the emission sources display relatively stable course through the last fifty years, did not reach values that can be stressing or even live limiting to red deer, and signified decreasing trend in last decade. Long-term course of fluorine concentration in samples from the second ground (half distance) has raising tendency since fifties. The species of this region have not been able to resist to high immission loads from near coal power plants and ecosystem balance have been disturbed. This resulted, except others, into forest decline (Norway spruce). Since seventies most of the determined fluorine concentration indicate initial or already developed stages of fluorosis in red deer.
