In this contribution attention was paid to development of total organic litter fall in mixed deciduous-coniferous forest with prevalence of spruce (Picea abies) during decade 1981 - 1998. Basic data were obtained on the annual organic litter fall, on leaf and non-leaf litter. The results (mean values) are as follows: total organic litter 3.10 tha(-1).year(-1) hence leaf litter 2.25 tha(-1) (72.6%) and non-leaf litter 0.85 tha(-1) (27.4%).
