Deals with the main ecological conditions and problems of the Vietnam and lays stress upon the effort of the research and planning organizations to reset the recent results of both landscape-ecological and socio-economic research into the planning process of the social development of the Vietnam. For this purpose the Institute of Economic Zoning of Ho Chi Minh City has chosen the methods of landscape ecological planning LANDEP which has been developed on the EIBE CBES SAS.
