Hares from near-urban regions of the Prague conurbation excreted an average of 400% more F-, those from regions of large thermal power plants by 700% more, and those from region of heavy concentration of industry by 3500% more fluorine than control animals. Measuring of precipitation from the heaviest contaminated region showed that up to 12 times higher amount of fluorides fell there than in the control region.
