Anthropic landscape is affected by persistent impact of large amount of chemical materials. Areal sources of pollution in contradiction to the point ones are very dangerous, hardly determined and irregulable. In this article we deal with methodological approach the aim of which is to search and manifest the critical places of areal pollution of the hydrosphere by selected contaminants in maps. At its elaboration we set out from the methodology of landscape-ecological planning LANDEP, i.e. analyses of basic features of abiotic complexes, methods of synthetical elaboration of parameters with the aim to form homogenous abiotic complexes from the viewpoint of material transport and applied methods of interpretation on account of possible endangering of the hydrosphere by precipitation of selected contaminants. The result of this methodological elaboration is spatial differentiation of areas of potential precipitation of different intensity. By placing the map record of information base about endangering of vegetation and soils by industrial exhalations on the areas of potential precipitation we obtain the real critical places where occur contamination of underground and surface waters with selected contaminants.
